1. Before we start talking about your book, why don’t you tell everybody a little bit about yourself?
I am extremely passionate about fiction. I’ve been writing stories, mostly fan fiction, for years now, but only began thinking seriously about publishing approximately a year ago. Encouraged by my family, friends and fellow authors I pursued my dream, and received my very first acceptance in March 2013.
I love creating new characters and losing myself in their worlds. Usually, I write contemporary romance in three heat levels: sweet, sensual and erotic. However, I would like to try my luck at other genres one day, such as paranormal or mystery.
2. Besides writing, what other things do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
When I’m not writing, I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, new sceneries, food and meeting new people, or simply reading a good book. I am also passionate about photography, hiking and spending time in nature.
3. What is your daily routine as far as when you have an idea for your story?
I dream about new stories all the time and it often happens that ideas come to me when I least expect it, so I keep a notebook where I write everything down.
4. Where do you get your ideas from?
I find inspiration in my everyday life, in the stories that I hear from my friends or people I barely know. Songs, movies, other books, anything could be inspiring and trigger my creative mind.
5. Out of all of the stories you’ve written so far, what would be your favorite and why?
“Hot Dreams of a Lonely Soul” and its sequel “Hopeful Dreams and New Beginnings” are the first two books that I’m publishing. I love them both just as much and I hope that the readers will enjoy them too.
6. Are any of the stories you’ve written based on real life experiences or basically just from imagination?
Even though I sometimes do get ideas from mine or other people’s experiences, none of the stories I wrote so far were based on real life events.
7. Does your ‘muse’ have a name and if so what is his/her name?
I don’t have a particular muse.
8. What other genre besides the one you are writing about now would you like to venture into writing?
Usually, I write contemporary romance in three heat levels: sweet, sensual and erotic. However, I would like to try my luck at other genres one day, such as paranormal or mystery.
9. Who are your favorite authors that are out now?
One of my favorite authors is Stephenie Meyer. I wasn’t much of a reader before I found her books. Thanks to her I discovered my passion for reading, passion I didn’t even know I had, and I also owe to her the fact that I am writing today.
E. L. James is another author I like. Just like her, I have written fan fiction for many years, but never had the courage to share my stories with the world. It is thanks to her that I decided to take writing more seriously and turn my passion into a dream come true by publishing my stories.
Besides them, I also enjoyed reading Suzanne Collins, Dan Brown, Sam Bourne, Paul Sussman and Sable Hunter’s books.
10. Who is your favorite female and male characters from your books and why?
I love all my characters equally because I put a little bit of myself in each and every one of them.
11. What do you think is the hardest thing about being a writer?
I think the biggest challenge is to create characters that people could identify themselves with, characters that are believable and that can make you cry and laugh and not want to put the book down.
12. What advice would you give someone who wants to start off being a writer?
I would tell them not to be afraid to give it a try and not feel discouraged if their story is rejected. Every author has faced that at one point, but if it’s what they truly love and it makes them happy, they should never give up and do the best they can to improve themselves.
13. If you hadn’t become a writer, what do you think you would be doing right now?
I work for an NGO where we make cultural projects with EU funds. I love my job because I am constantly surrounded by artists, actors, singers and directors, and I get the chance to express my creativity. However, I hope that one day I will become a full time author and be able to dedicate more time to my writing.
14. What would be the perfect Romantic getaway?
The perfect romantic getaway for me would be a deserted island, dining on the beach with candles everywhere, listening to the sounds of nature and the sea.
Well now that we got the question and answer out of the way…..why don’t you tell us about your latest story you have out now?
