Well now that we got the question and answer out of the way…..why don’t you tell us about your latest story you have out now?
My latest story is actually The Joy Series, which is a combination of my three short stories, A Special Joy, Bring the Joy and A Secret Joy.
Three ladies and three men find Joy in the most unexpected places!
A Special Joy – Jayla Webber is taking life in stride pouring her heart into her business ignoring her personal life. When she meets Winfred Baylor, Jr, a business man, she soon sees how important family really is. Everything is going great until Jayla’s new hire turns out to be Winfred’s employee.
Will they be able to put their differences aside?
Bring the Joy – Nicole Mills is doing everything she can to keep her mind off her personal life and the heartbreak that comes with it. Her boss, and friend, is in need of her help on the restaurant side of the company. Everything at Jay’s is business as usual until things begin to heat up with Perry. Now, the no dating fellow employees rule and career maybe in jeopardy.
Perry Howard, the head chef at Jay’s is working well under pressure even being short-handed. That is until Nicole shows up. Soon the flames are fanned in the kitchen and the attraction between them is hard to contain, he may have to make a choice between following the rules and love.
When the past and the present collide, will they be able to hold onto the joy they’ve found with each other?
A Secret Joy – Abigail Baylor has been the baby of the family for years. She is determined to stay out of the watchful eye of her big brother. This is all in vain when the heat rises between her and Max, her brother’s friend.
Max Wells is excited about his new job and everything is falling into place. All is well until he runs into Abigail while sending a night out with friends. Should he honor his friend or follow his heart?
What will they do when the sparks begin to fly?
As she walked out of the side exit, she noticed a car parked in the front of the building. Since no cars were parked there when she entered Jay’s, Jayla knew it had to be Winfred. She froze in her tracks.
Should I walk over there, should I wait here to see if he comes over? Before any more thoughts could enter her mind the car door opened. Winfred stepped out. Oh my God! Is it possible he could have gotten even hotter in the past hour?
He closed the car door and began to walk over to where she was standing. She was glad of that because her feet were planted into the ground. The walk he had was simply sensational. With power in each step he walked with purpose. Like he was walking into battle to claim what was his. He is walking to claim me. Just the thought caused the moisture to build between her legs. Thank God for that extra spray. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other. That made matters worse but better at the same time. If he were not so close a few more shifts would allow her to have an orgasm right where she stood, the man turned her on that much.
“Well, hello, ma’am, are you waiting for someone?” Winfred asked.
Finally able to free her feet she turned toward him.
“Yes, I am” she smiled as she answered.
Winfred flashed a big smile back at her. Oh my, God, there go those butterflies again. There was definitely something about this man. Jayla wanted to find out what it was. She would begin that quest tonight.
“I hope you were not waiting for me long.” Winfred said.
“No, it gave me a chance to freshen up a bit. I was hoping I didn’t keep you waiting.”
“It was well worth the wait.” Winfred said eyeing her from head to toe.
“So you like?” Jayla responded as she turned around like a model on a catwalk.
“Oh, yes indeed.” His gaze was intense as he stared down at her.
“Good mission accomplished.” Jayla licked her lips, then swallowed trying to keep herself under control.
She didn’t miss his eyes tracking the movement of her tongue.
“So are you ready to go?” His voice was rough.
“Yes, I’m ready when you are.”
“You wait here. I’ll go get the car.”
Once again, Jayla got the pleasure of watching him walking away. No more wiggles Jayla or you are going to have a puddle right here.
The Joy Series is available on amazon.
I’m currently working on Heating up the Ice. Expect it to be released October 25, 2013.
