I've been so busy lately with writing as well as doing my interview blog, which I must say has been doing pretty good and I'm happy about it.
I have decided that I would take the time before I head for bed and write this blog because something has been on my mind and the title of this entry basically states it all:
"People Need to Start Acting Their Age....And Not Their Shoe Size!"
Now I know what you might be thinking.....
Who came up with that quote?
For one thing what is up with the quote?
Well the reason for the quote is that it's as simple as it is stated.....it seems nowadays that folks tend to act nothing like the age that they really are. People tend to act more like the number on their shoes.
So if you are say 50 but your shoe size is like 9.....instead of you acting like you are actually 50, you tend to act more like a 9 year old kid. Childish as hell and doing and saying things that honestly have no reason for acting the way they act. Especially when it comes to when they don't seem to get what they want.
As of late, I've seen and read a lot of things.....and I know that by me writing this blog, I will probably more than likely end up getting a lot of slack for what I write about. In a way, I honestly don't care because it needs to be said by someone and as of late, I hate seeing folks end up getting hurt over stupidity.
I just don't seem to understand why people think that hurting others to gain something in life is not gonna come back and haunt you.
Karma is that bitch that you see wearing a very teeny yellow polka dot bikini that doesn't have any business wearing it in the first place. She knows and waits for you to come and say something to her about what she's wearing but its honestly just best to stay as far the hell away from her as possible for fear of getting got (if you catch my drift).
Sometimes it makes me sad to sit back and watch the havoc being played among folks over things that really only ends up hurting others around them.
